Brian is an accomplished veteran in the world of marketing and hospitality. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. degree in Sports Communication, Brian took his talents to Firestone Racing. As a manager of marketing, Brian executed local market promotions at the dealer level using the motorsports program to drive awareness to the Firestone Racing program. Brian also worked at the hospitality tent on race weekends and worked to improve the overall hospitality experience for guests of Firestone.
In 2000, Brian went to work at the esteemed Target Chip Ganassi Racing team, leading the PR and Marketing efforts for drivers such as Tony Stewart, Scott Dixon, Jimmy Vasser, Kenny Brack, etc. He also worked closely with Target to develop an impression-based ROI tool to measure the impact of the racing team on the Target brand. In 2002, Brian helped to deliver over 2 Billion impressions of the Target brand.
In 2003, Brian joined INDYCAR and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as a Director. Among his many accomplishments were the ideation and execution of a national Wheaties box promotion, featuring the 2003 series champion, Scott Dixon as well as fellow Target Chip Ganassi Racing driver Darren Manning who joined Dixon on the cover of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereals that year. In 2005, Brian founded the Client Services department at INDYCAR and led a team of 4 who were responsible for accounts such as Honda, PEAK, Chevrolet, Philip Morris, among others.
Brian was instrumental in saving the company over $600k annually by negotiating and leveraging key INDYCAR assets. Brian also helped to oversee the hospitality operations at all race venues during his tenure.
Following his entrepreneurial spirit, Brian teamed up with Drew Bergwall to establish 721 Solutions in January of 2016. In his spare time, Brian enjoys golf, coaching youth league baseball and spending time with his 3 children.
